I am really excited about the t-shirt, the design is amazing! I can't wait to hear your new Trock songs once there recorded :D Do you have any plans to do further gigs with Sons of Admirals outside of London as I live in Cardiff and getting up to London will be a bit of a struggle. xxx

Unrelated: your CD creeped up on me. First, it took ages to get here (got the physical and Canada Post was on vacation, I dunno), and then, I didn't have time to listen to it – so I put it in my car. I must be honest, I was really disapointed I didn't like it (I loved Parrot Stories right away and still love it). But, like you, I know it doesn't mean it won't become my favourite CD. So after a week or two driving it around, first thing I knew, I was taking the cd in the house, in the car, at work, in the house, in the car… I even wake up at night and clearly hear the songs in my head – even the ones I don't know by heart! (that's real weird)
Creeped up on me, I tell you.
My favourite musical line so far: the chord change introducing the “And I'm not gonna lose you” bit (and that bit). And I admit, the “falling in love again gain gain gain” bit is really neat :D
Anyway, I love the whole album, so… ;)

was I the only one who thought, based on the title, it was going to be a trock shirt? SOA is really cool and the shirt is great! but there should totally be a trock shirt, maybe if/when the new trock cd comes out, or right before it comes out, to get people pysched up!

Also, assuming your tweet about taylor swift was serious, have you ever heard of Brad Paisley? Maybe it's a little too country for you, but just looking at his songs from a lyrical standpoint, I love his stuff. Some of his sonngs are moe country than others, but 364 days to go, Then, the World, and many more are great.

Yeah, when I first saw that design I thought it was pretty awesome. I think it'd make an excellent sticker design (I know color stickers are quite expensive, but I think this design would be perfect for one).

Yeah, assuming the tweet was serious… I'm amazed at how I can love an artist's work and yet dislike so much what the artist likes… I mean, if a musician I love is influenced by music I don't like, it's weird, isn't it?
I hate country music, I can't stand it. And to me, Fearless is just another forgettable rhythmless bland chick's softie song.
Of course, this is my personal opinion. Obviously not shared by a LOT of ppl. Which is okay.

That is an extremely rad t-shirt design. I like what the fellow below said about finger puppets, that'd be very cute. Also, if there does happen to be a Chameleon Circuit t-shirt on the way, it should probably involve a fez. Because fezzes are cool.

yeah, I respect that =) I just like any song that has lyrics that speak to me, like Alex's do. means I like a little bit of every genre. The three I don't particuarly like are Classical, Opera, and Rap. Rap is the only one I can't stand! the other two are fine, I can listen to them, they just don't do anything for me. mainly because they don't have lyrics I can relate to.

It's funny in a way cause Rap has a LOT of lyrics hahaha But I'm with you on Rap. To me, it's a genre that just contaminates : why oh why does a not-Rap artist feel they have to suddenly put some Rap in their songs – what, to appeal to a different audience? If Alex ever does that, I'll… I'll… I'll skip the song, that's what I'll do. (notice how I didn't say I wouldn't buy the album LOL).

Yeah, randomly shouting hate and/or adding rap in the middle of a song really bugs me. It def. takes away from the song. But heck, I buy other people's albums despite that, I'd certainly buy Alex's, if (please don't!) he ever decided to try that.
