ONE DAY

This is the physical CD artwork of Still Got Legs. Isn’t it gorgeous? I think this is Alan’s best design work. (Click to view it full-size.)

Tomorrow, our album is available for pre-order. =D And then we begin the tense waiting period between the order and the release. I can’t wait for you guys to hear this. Since we've got into the habit of showing off new cards from the Sopio/Chameleon Circuit booster pack, here's the final one:

The Sopio pack, containing all nine cards you’ve seen on the blog this last week, is available to order right now and only costs £3.50, same as any booster pack of trading cards.     I think I actually came a little bit when I saw that artwork. Alan did such a great job on it and I can’t wait to pre-order it. Is there going to be a bundle of Still Got Legs with the original album? I know I should have bought the original by now but then you mentioned a while back on VYou that there might be a bundle so I waited patiently for the release of the new album. If not I’ll just buy both anyway :D

    I may have just made the album artwork my wallpaper and ordered the new booster deck of Sopio cards.  God I feel like such a fangirl.  (You would’ve thought I’d grown out of it by now…)

    I’m sure Charlie will write a blog about it, but the short answer is that the album ended up going in a different direction musically to what we expected and Doctor What didn’t end up fitting with the rest of the tracks. Charlie has lead vocals on four songs on the album though even without Doctor What :)

    I’ve heard that the band members will have their CDs and such for sale at the listening party, and I was wondering if you would be selling any Sopio Decks/Booster Packs. Buying stuff offline is complicated for me because I’m not old enough to have a ‘proper’ card that can work for online purchases, and my parents are awkward with buying pretty much anything. I’m coming to the listening party tomorrow though, and I would buy the hell out of a Sopio Deck, they look awesome.

    Thanks very much! Mine’s getting delivered to my friend’s house (they ordered the tickets) so that works out well – I’ll be having a post-exmas holiday so wouldn’t be able to get it anyway. This way I can just meet up with my friend to get the album. At last! :P

    This is probably true. I wish it had legs too; it could bleeding-well run off my computer! It’s a general fault in the system that no picture can be changed.
    I’m thinking I’ll just print off a picture and stick it on my wall (like a poster, or a real-life wallpaper :P )

    Ohhh desicions don’t have enough money to get both the cd and the sopio cards. Think i might get the cd first cause the artwork is amazing and no doubt the songs are too. My lovely friend Hannah is going tonight and i’m super jealous. Will have to get the sopio cards cause i play them with my patrol (of 7) at guides every so often and they are becoming addicted.     :S I took my fez, ready for the lyric in ‘Big Bang 2′ to go “Oh my god, he’s wearing a fez!” and put it on all triumphantly and look like a clown (as I so often do). Then it couldn’t be played! Gutted!
    In fairness, it was still a great night and I really enjoyed it. And not hearing that song means I’ve got more to look forward to for when the album comes out (apart from the whole being able to listen to it thing…)And bringing the fez was worth it – a few people commented, including Alex and Charlie :D
