I got The Oceanic Six’s CD this morning and it’s SO GOOD. People should definitely buy it. Now. Go. Buy it. BUY IT <3
So I did an interview with this girl from Seattle called Katie and you can read it by clicking here. Here’s a choice excerpt to get you excited:
Q: You’re just 20 years old. What is a typical day in a life for Alex Day?
A: Every night I set my alarm for around 7:30 and every morning I find myself unable to get up till about 9, silently cursing myself for sleeping in yet again. I’ll debate getting food, but end up reading Lost on-set reports and Dollhouse speculation forums for a couple hours. If it’s been a few days since my last YouTube video, I’ll start thinking of what one I wanna do next, which would require either psyching myself up to get through another godawful chapter of Stephanie Meyer fiction or putting some other plan in place (I have a folder with draft video ideas waiting to be filmed). And at some point I’ll pick up my guitar and warble my way through a cover of Paparazzi by Lady GaGa (which I’m sure thrills the neighbours more and more every time they hear it). I don’t have a job, I should point out, because there are enough kind people buying my album that I can literally just fill up the time, day after day, until the sweet release of death.

I came up with a really cool idea for my music, which I’ve run by Alan, and am waiting for him to run by Hank to see if we can actually do it or not. But it’ll be REALLY COOL if we can. ^_^
Hearts video hasn’t got any further, cos it poured down with rain on Saturday, so we’ll be filming again in a couple weeks. Gah. I feel bad for all the people I’m dragging out of their homes to stand about with me in the cold. I might give them all copies of Parrot Stories as thanks. xD

The Twilight videos are funny, true, but I think even just a regular Vlog would be cool. Nothing special necessary.
Can you let us know the next time you plan to do more filming for Hearts? I was gutted to hear (by Benjamin Cook's Twitter, I might add) that I missed it last Saturday. I'd love to help out again, like on that first Saturday. It was fun. :)
Also, good luck with reading more Twilight. You are braver than anyone else I've ever met.

haha yes it was a tad cold on saturday, but hey there was a ukulele to tune and that seemed to amuse everyone, third times the charm :)

I got the Oceanic Six’s CD this morning too. I’ve been watching lost since it started and I’m looking forward to the final series.
There seems to be a craze at the moment of posting Lady GaGa covers on YouTube. You should post yours xD. Love the new YouTube video by the way. I’ve got a friend who uses to work at an Apple Store and he’s got some crazy stories about his time there.

Really great interview, very ineteresting, very candid (: I envy your life.
One question though, do you expect to be touring the UK? So far you've only done gigs in London, which is pretty far for use northeners to go, especially with trains being pretty expensive nowadays. I'm sure you'd get a great audience if you came to Chester or even Manchester. We'll give you cookies and hugs <3 In fact, it'd be unbeliveably fantastic if the UK-based DFTBA artists in general did more gigs outside of London, I knwo a lot of people feel left out because you only seem to do London or the US! (and by this I do mean: bring us Tom Milsom or we'll burn Hornchurch ;P)
Also, I got a mental image of you singing 'paparazzi' in a bumblebee costume. Please, make this a reality and upload it! :D
A day like that sounds like a great sort of day. We all know that's just the ones when you don't spend time with your amazing friends! ;)
I hate it when I leave a comment and then realise there’s a spelling mistake but what I hate even more is when someone posts a second comment correcting their own spelling :P

As I said, I read Benjamin Cook's twitter, and last Saturday (16th January) he said he was with Alex and Charlie filming, although I assume this is what Alex was refering to when he said “it poured down with rain on Saturday” up there in his blog. The “Calling All Fangirls” video was for the 9th January.

I think that you should be my best friend. None of my friends like Dollhouse and I have no one to talk to about the craziness of this show! So, I have to contain all of my nerdy Whedon glee. Sigh.
Anyway, I'm sure no one minds being dragged out in the cold! I would gladly go myself, but there's an unfortunate ocean in the way.
