The EP is finished! <3 And the release date has been moved up to March the 1st! Yay and such.
I’ve been trying to limit the number of people that hear it before release, so as to make the day of release a mutually exciting event for myself as well as you guys, rather insultingly referring to those that have heard it as being in the stupidly named ‘circle of trust’. Today I got over myself after Tom had a stern talk with me about how I’m an emotionless drone and I just played it to Becky. I’m now gonna play it for my mum. Tom’s always right about things. What a wanker.
Although he did come out with this today:
“… imagine if I was in charge.”
Me: That would be a dictatorship!
“No, it wouldn’t be! Let’s call it a … monocracy.”
Since the EP will be out on March 1st, I’ve decided to do a launch gig on February 28th, similar to Tom’s launch for Painfully Mainstream; little venue, hopefully Tom and Ed will play for me, and then I’ll play the EP through and do a few other fun things and then I’ll bring copies with me. I don’t know how much they’ll be yet but it’s only three tracks, so it won’t be as much as a full album OBVIOUSLY.

Launch gig is on my birthday!!! :D Shame I don't live in England… yet…
Does the launch gig include a US launch gig too? If so, i know NYC seems pretty tempting, but you know, secretly Washington DC is where it's at. We just disguise it by walking around dressed like government officials on their way to important meetings.
I think you should have your launch party in America.

Alex… I'm gonna take that launch gig as a personal birthday present (I'm born on february 29th, but alas there is no 29th this year) and what a coinky-dink now you'll have performed on both mine and my brother's birthdays (28th of Feb. and 12th of Dec.)
