On Monday, Oli (our engineer) and myself both turned up in yellow jumpers, so today we co-ordinated to all wear blue. We’re hoping to make it through the rainbow before the album is completed.

We have a little break for a week and a half now, and then we go back on the 23rd and 24th to record the next two tracks – Heart On My Sleeve and The World Is Mine (I Don’t Know Anything) THE TITLE TRACK, YEAH BOIZ.

I have a rival in love called Giorgia and for some reason there are a millions songs about Giorgia but none about Rachel. Ok, not quite a million and admittedly some of them are about the American state, but there are definitely a lot about a girl called Georgia. John Mayer, Ray Charles, The Band. What is it about Georgia? You've never even met her but you're in love with her. Damn that girl.

I'm afraid I didn't - I went to primary school in Dagenham and moved here when I was 11 ^^;

okay this is just gonna be annoying and random on your blog, but do you like or not like Americans? I'm just a wondering (yes the a is supposed to be there) Cause it always seems like British people are like "Oh those stupid Americans" whereas Americans are like "Wow, the British have the best accents!" Just wondering your viewpoint.

Hahaha - I wouldn't judge an entire race! I don't do or dislike EVERY AMERICAN, but in general I find them very nice :)

Hi Alex, I'm just wondering how much you make per 1000 views from a YouTube video, as a Partner? You seem to be able to sustain your lifestyle with the income and you've made references to it being enough in the past, and I was just wondering. I'm sorry if this is too personal!

The adsense is alright but my album sales are what keep me going. I'd say in an average month, the money I get is at least 70-75% album royalties to 25% YouTube revenue.

I was very excited when you showed us her e-mail. Every time I see this girl in my class named Georgia I start singing this. She doesn't know it and she gets very angry with me. Almost as pissed as Angie.
