So, here’s what I’ve been up to:

Helloooooooo

So since you last saw me, I have:

a) Given out my email-upload address for Dailybooth so people can upload whatever they want there, because I can’t delete my account and don’t care what happens to it. Within twenty minutes there was porn and admin gods intervened, changing the email-upload address as well as my password, so I can never wreak Dailybooth havoc again. (The same thing happened on deviantART. I’m banned for uploading hardcore porn in an attempt to make them delete my account, since they don’t publicly give a deletion option. it didn’t work.)

b) Got repeatedly excited by the new episodes of Lost, The Ricky Gervais Show, and hyped up about Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

c) Found a flat with Charlie which I’ll be moving into next week – very exciting

d) Thought of ways to continue the ‘Alex Reads Twilight’ series without having to read any more of the book – no success

e) Started rehearsals with Tom and Ed for the Upload Tour; EVERYTHING SOUNDS SO GOOD, and I’m playing bass in Ed’s set, which is new

Today I’m going to a drum studio with Tom and Oli to record the drums for The World Is Mine, Alan’s working on the artwork and sending me cool drafts, we’ll start sorting out the booklet soon, and tomorrow we finish mixing/mastering the CD so I can send it to Charlie to consider music video ideas. THEN I’ll get to chill out and play Kingdom Hearts.

In unrelated news, there are rumors that a mob of fan girls is organizing and making plans to spread out and search the whole of London next week, knocking on the door of every single flat. The motive of these crazed teenage girls remains unknown.

Instead of reading Twilight, try the spoof “Nightlight”. It is insanely funny, but I suppose you would have to finnish Twilight in order to fully apprecieate a spoof… so hurry up and finnish the book!!!! Maybe Charlie can help you?

I beliiiiieve sparknotes HAS. or something like that. I definietly remember seeing a blog series on there wehere soemone read twilight chapter by chapter, almost as entertaining as alex's version, i reccommend it if you can find it!

Even though I know it has absolutely no effect on me, I got all excited when I saw you were moving in with Charlie. I guess I just live vicariously through you… (and let it be made clear I am not a rabid Charlie fangirl. I am sane and reasonable, and am more likely to squee at the Stephen Fry outro than Charlie himself…)
Also, I cannot cannot cannot WAIT for TWIM. Especialy as I'm not paying for it myself this time, but instead got an autograph off Jamie Campbell-Bower for my friend and she is paying me back by buying the album for me. Happy days ^^

Because you don't really know someone until you have to put up with all their little eccentricities I really hope being flatmates with Charlie doesn't take the shine off their friendship. It does seem like a wonderful opportunity for this talented twosome to do more creative things together. As much as I like what each of them does on their own I can't help but think that world domination would be within their reach if they joined forces.

Oh and talking about tv-series, I recently discovered 'The Big Bang Theory' and have watched the first couple of episodes. I like it <3 The episodes are short (+/- 20 minutes) so it's especially nice if you need to pass some time waiting for stuff (food, bus rides).

I've pretty much been trying to delete my dailybooth since the week after I got it. Aaaauuugh it's awful.
Yay for flat-moving! I'm still looking for one in my price range… no luck at all. Fingers crossed that it'll still work out, haha.
I would suggest SparkNotes for Twilight but a) you wouldn't be able to comment on the terrible writing (just the terrible story) and b) there is no SparkNotes for Twilight (thank god).

However, when you do finish it, I think you could consider making a video summarising the plot and then stating your opinions on the book as a whole. You can then ask your audience to send you plot summary and opinion on the next three books and use this to create a video (or three videos, if you get lots of good responses).
By doing this, you will be able to comment on the full series without committing yourself to reading the next three books. Also, you will be allowing anyone who has read the books to offer up an opinion, which means that you should get a great variety of comment (as twilight does seem to polarise opinion). I’d be interested in hearing how different people would summarise the plot, what conclusions they drew about underlying theme of the books ect.
As for point e), I’ll see you there.
