When I was about 14/15, I tried to do the worm on the trampoline that sat in my friend Mitchy’s garden. My legs went waaaaay too high up and over the top half of me, I heard a crack noise, I screamed, and couldn’t walk properly for several days afterward.
Also, I’m a pretty bad fail at Childhood Month on Lifescouts. Everyone else I know have all ten badges for childhood experiences, but I only have five. Single tear.

About two years ago, I wrote a song about what it’s like for video game characters when we pause the game, or leave the controller alone but leave the game switched on. I liked the idea of a character who is fully conscious and aware of his ‘destiny’ in the game, but can’t fulfil it because all he can do is wait for your return. Anyway it’s the first song I’ve ever written on piano, playing it all fully myself. Here is the music video :)
