Someone asked me what my biggest rock star moment was and this is the story that came to mind:

“I was with my band doing radio interviews and I stole some stuff from reception in the building.”

That’s the short version. Here’s the true story:

I was with my band (the one that did the Arthur theme song) doing radio interviews and I stole some stuff from reception in the building. It was tea. I stole a box of raspberry, cranberry and elderflower-flavoured Twinings tea. I say ‘stole’ - I asked our manager at the time “do you think this would be okay?” and he said “of course” so I took the tea in plain sight and with the blessing of everyone around me. Then I left the tea on the bus on the way home. So I didn’t even get to enjoy the tea. Also I was wearing slippers.
